First Solar's collection and recycling program is designed to be:
Unconditional: Anyone wishing to dispose of First Solar modules can request collection at any time by using the contact information on the back of every module.
Convenient: All the owner needs to do is dismantle the system and package the modules following First Solar’s instructions. First Solar does the rest, arranging transportation and recycling services at no charge.
Free: At the time of a module sale, First Solar sets aside money to cover all anticipated collection and recycling costs so there is no additional cost to the owner. These funds are held and managed by a third party under a trust arrangement to ensure they will be available when they are needed regardless of the financial status of First Solar.
